Love in Disguise (나의 유죄인간), tvN's new Monday–Tuesday drama, premieres on Monday, October 19, at 8:50 p.m. KST, according to tvN's official trailer. Seol In-ah plays Kang Jae-hee, a former special forces officer turned detective who goes undercover as the personal secretary of Yoon Yi-jun, Yim Si-wan's arrogant chaebol heir and a murder suspect. She works under a false identity, and Yi-jun believes his new secretary is a man.
Moon Soo-jung writes and Park Dan-hee directs; CJ ENM Studios planned the series and Pitapat Studio produced it. Kim Jung-hyun plays Kim Si-hyun, Yi-jun's longtime best friend and a lawyer on Taegang Group's legal team, and Yeonwoo plays Lee Hye-jung. Yim was in Squid Game Season 2, and Seol in Mr. Queen. Our drama page sums the setup up as Coffee Prince meets a murder investigation.
Where to watch Love in Disguise
In Korea the drama airs on tvN and streams on TVING. Outside Korea, Korean entertainment reports say Amazon Prime Video carries it as a simultaneous global release. We found no Prime Video release hour or list of regions, so check the title in the Prime Video app where you live. Our guide to watching K-dramas legally compares the services if Prime isn't one you have.
The Korean premiere at 8:50 p.m. KST on October 19 is 7:50 a.m. that Monday on the US East Coast and 4:50 a.m. on the West Coast.
Three Korean titles for one drama
The drama adapts a KakaoPage web novel and webtoon by Lee A-yeon and Ryu Do-ha, 여자인 걸 왜 모르지?. Korean reports from December 2025 say the drama first used that title, switched to 그놈은 예뻤다 and then settled on 나의 유죄인간. The literal readings below are our translations.
| Title | Literal reading | Used as | What it sells |
|---|---|---|---|
| 여자인 걸 왜 모르지? | Why don't you know she's a woman? | Source title, then first working title | The disguise, as a question to him |
| 그놈은 예뻤다 | That guy was pretty | Second working title | The disguise, from his side |
| 나의 유죄인간 | My guilty human | Final Korean title | Guilt, as a pun on a racing heart |
| Love in Disguise | — | English title | The disguise again |
The first two names tell one joke from two sides: a man who can't see that his secretary is a woman. The final Korean title drops it for a pun on guilt, and tvN's suspect teaser spells the pun out: the charge is "daring to make my heart race" (감히 내 마음을 뛰게 한 죄, our translation). The English title goes back to the disguise.
One suspect, three secrets
Jae-hee keeps three things from the man she works for: her badge, the case with his name on it, and the fact that she is a woman. The third drives the romantic comedy; the first two drive the thriller. Any one of them can come out without the other two, so I expect the order of the reveals to be the plot. The previews released so far set the first turn in their relationship: detective and suspect at the start, then an executive and his secretary.
The K-drama schedule tracks October's other premieres, and our Make Me Tingle premiere guide covers the month's other new rom-com.
Mina's Take
The English title sells the disguise. I think the murder decides this one. A romance whose hero is a murder suspect has to settle whether he did it before the love story can land. Hold the answer too long and every scene of Jae-hee falling for him reads as a detective compromising her case. The Korean title has already picked a side, and it's a pun on guilt rather than gender. My call: Yi-jun learns his secretary is a woman by the end of episode 6, while the murder is still unsolved. If that reveal waits past episode 6, I misread which secret this drama is built on.
