BESTie's "Love Options" is reaching a new audience through short videos, including a fan edit pairing the 2013 song with Hearts2Hearts' "Lemon Tang" choreography. The revival was already bringing the song back into charts in September. On October 17, 2026, BESTie's representatives said all four members had agreed to reunite.
The 2013 song behind the sound
"Love Options," also known by its Korean title "연애의 조건," was BESTie's second single. It followed the four-member group's 2013 debut with "Pitapat" and was produced by Brave Brothers, with lyrics describing a woman's ideal romantic partner.
The original digital release dates to October 17, 2013. The full song and its original presentation are still available in 1theK's "Love Options" music video, giving listeners a way to put the sound from their feed back in its BESTie context.
How Hearts2Hearts fits into the trend
One documented boost came from a fan-made YouTube edit uploaded on July 28. It took footage of Hearts2Hearts performing "Lemon Tang" and replaced the audio with "Love Options." The clip drew attention because the choreography appeared to line up with the older song.
That explains why viewers may associate BESTie's audio with Hearts2Hearts. The performance footage and soundtrack come from separate releases: Hearts2Hearts has its own official "Lemon Tang" video, while the song used in the edit belongs to BESTie. The documented connection is a fan's combination of the two.
"Love Options" also circulated through TikTok, Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts, taking the older song beyond the audience of that particular edit.
The chart recovery also predates the reunion news. By September 1, the song had been reported in Apple Music's South Korean Top 100. October 17 reports placed it in Melon's TOP100 and in the 60s on the separate daily chart.
How BESTie responded
Members had already joined in by September. Hyeyeon and Haeryung danced the song's older choreography together, while Dahye used "Love Options" in a playful video of her own.
The larger development came on October 17, when representatives said Hyeyeon, U.JI, Dahye and Haeryung had decided to resume activities together as BESTie. The four-member reunion followed the renewed attention around a song released exactly 13 years earlier.
The reported reunion plans did not include a dated new release or performance schedule.
