EXO’s Kai and Sehun to Debut as a Unit in December

EXO’s Kai and Sehun will debut as a new unit in December 2026. SM Entertainment confirmed on November 2 that the duo will release their first mini album that month.

The confirmation did not include an exact release date, a formal unit name, the album title or a tracklist.

Fans call Kai and Sehun “94z,” a nickname referring to the year they were both born, 1994.

They have already performed together

Sehun joined Kai as a surprise guest at his solo encore concert in September 2025, where they shared the stage.

In January 2026, Sehun appeared on “Jeongwating,” the web show hosted by Kai. It is a spin-off of “Jeongwaja (Changing Majors).”

The two are also set to appear as travel partners on ENA’s “World Dice Tour 4.”
