HYBE CINE FEST 2026: Dates, BTS Live Viewings, Tickets

Set an alarm for September 30. That is when tickets open, according to Hypebeast, for an eight-day cinema festival in 65 territories that carries two BTS concerts live from South America — billed by the official programme as the first-ever BTS Live Viewing broadcast from the continent.

HYBE CINE FEST 2026 runs in cinemas worldwide from October 24 to 31, distributed by Trafalgar Releasing. Six programmes share the week: BTS from Buenos Aires and from São Paulo, concert films from SEVENTEEN, TOMORROW X TOGETHER and ENHYPEN, and a 3D sing-along called the HYBE CHEERING PARTY. The part most coverage skips is the calendar — the Americas get each BTS date a day before everyone else — so below is the week as a grid, then the map of the 14 Special Location venues and two festival stores.

Six programmes, two of them live

The two BTS nights are the ones with fixed clocks. BTS WORLD TOUR 'ARIRANG' IN BUENOS AIRES: LIVE VIEWING comes from the first show BTS has ever played in Argentina. BTS WORLD TOUR 'ARIRANG' IN SÃO PAULO: LIVE VIEWING is the grand finale of the group's Latin America tour. Per Hypebeast, both are tied to set live and delayed screening times rather than the festival's open window. If you read what the ARIRANG shows did to spending around Goyang Stadium, this is the version of that tour that needs no flight.

Three concert films make up the middle of the programme. SEVENTEEN WORLD TOUR 'NEW_' is the tour that celebrated their 10th debut anniversary. TOMORROW X TOGETHER WORLD TOUR 'ACT : TOMORROW' is TXT's fourth world tour; fans who caught the Nagoya Moa Con cinema broadcast know the room, though this time it is a film rather than a live feed. ENHYPEN WORLD TOUR 'BLOOD SAGA' captures the Seoul concert that opened a tour still under way.

The sixth programme is the odd one. The HYBE CHEERING PARTY is a 3D, "game-like cheering screening", in the festival's words: fan chants and light sticks over music videos. Its roster runs to 13 acts — BTS, SEVENTEEN, TOMORROW X TOGETHER, ENHYPEN, LE SSERAFIM, &TEAM, BOYNEXTDOOR, TWS, ILLIT, KATSEYE, aoen, CORTIS and SANTOS BRAVOS. The HYBE CINE FEST 2026 week, dated by region

The week as a grid. Each BTS show reaches the Americas on one date and the rest of the world on the next. The official BTS live viewing site headlines them as "Saturday, Oct 24, live from Buenos Aires" and "Friday, Oct 30, live from São Paulo" — the Americas dates. Whether a rest-of-world session on the 25th or 31st runs live or delayed is down to your cinema's listing. The three films and the Cheering Party, per Hypebeast's framing, sit in the festival's open window.

The festival site points to that BTS page for territory-specific times; on September 24 its territory list did not display.

The footprint is the other change. According to Hypebeast, the festival debuted in Latin America in 2024 and expanded across Asia in 2025; the official territory page now lists 65 territories, which Hypebeast rounds to "more than 60". The USA, the UK, Canada, Australia, the Philippines, Japan and the Republic of Korea are all on it; India is not. It also lands in the back half of a crowded October comeback calendar.

Read by region, the map has a clear weighting. Mexico City holds three of the eight Plus venues — every Plus venue in the Americas. The USA is on the territory list but gets a store in Burbank, not a Special Location. São Paulo, the city the finale is broadcast from, gets the standard tier: photo zones, no experience zone. Europe has one Plus venue, in Berlin, plus the Paris store; Asia has nine of the 14 venues. The official site adds that operations at Special Locations "are subject to change depending on local circumstances."

Mina's Take

The BTS broadcasts will carry the headlines, but the Special Location map is the tell. Three experience-zone cinemas in Mexico City, none in the USA, and a Burbank store as the American consolation prize: the in-person layer is being built where the festival started, in Latin America, not where most English-language K-pop coverage is written. Rightly, in my view — a live feed from Buenos Aires means more in a city trusted with three experience zones than as one more session at a US multiplex. The sleeper is the Cheering Party, the only cinema slot this week for nine of its 13 acts. My call: the official Special Locations list gains no US cinema before the festival opens on October 24. If one appears, I read the map wrong.
